Piano Classes

Pre-Piano 

Students 5-6 years of age learn rhythm notation, five-finger dexterity and keyboard skills, pre-reading skills, ear-training, rudimentary reading and writing, and preliminary improvisation. No practice is required at home for this class. This class provides the foundational skills and knowledge for future Piano Exclusive (Private) lessons.

Piano Exclusive

Students 7 years of age and up embark on a musical journey, building the knowledge, skills and repertoire for life-long learning. Students will learn the piano keyboard geography, music theory, reading skills, ear-training, rhythmic-reading, writing and improvisation. The culminating benefits are the social and neurocognitive development associated with studying music (e.g., increased IQ, increased language skills, increased math skills, and confidence).

Adult Piano

It's never to late learn. Students 18 years of age and up embark on a musical journey building the knowledge, skills and repertoire to play their favorite songs. They learn  piano keyboard geography, music theory, reading skills, ear-training, rhythmic-reading, writing and improvisation. The culminating benefits are the social and neurocognitive development associated with studying music (e.g., increased IQ, increased emotional intelligence, increased memory and focus).

Offsite-After School and Summer Programs

Piano Presto 
A young beginner's approach to piano instruction for ages 5-6 and 7-11. This fun-filled camp teaches your child rhythmic reading, geographic location of keyboard letter names, and will develop the five finger dexterity of both hands. Your child will be able to play familiar songs by the end of this program. 

Additional theory is included for ages 7-11.  Ages 5-6 one week camp runs for 2 hours per day Monday through Friday. Ages 7-11 one week camp run for 3 hour per day Monday through Friday.
